This will allow the timer on the skill to drop to zero by the time you get to the branching path. Once you have that, you'll have to play it cool and try to do the lease amount of damage in a given turn. This level doesn't feature any Light orbs to use, so you'll have to use a skill that allows you to change orbs to Light orbs (a Yellow Koopa Paratroopa will work for this). Question Block containing a Mushroom/ Fire Flower. Then, he finds a Question Block with two more Goombas above him. Above a hill after the fourth Warp Pipe, he can find a hidden 1-up Mushroom. Also, Mario can go down the fourth Warp Pipe to teleport to the second-to-last Warp Pipe in the level near two Goombas. Then, he must continue along until finding four Warp Pipes with a Goomba between the second and third and two between the third and fourth. He must hit the bottom-left one to reveal a mushroom. He can also find three Question Blocks above him. When Mario starts the level, he must walk a few inches until finding a Goomba.
World 1-1 is the first level appearing in Super Mario Bros.
